The Elastolin Well was made as a large 40mm piece. This meant it could be used with 70mm men and still fit nicely. Turning the crank pulls the metal chain up and down. Like all Elastolin pieces it was very strongly made. Includes an intricate set of cranks and gears.
The Elastolin well was made by Hausser up until the early 1980s. 40mm scale (never produced in 70mm scale).
