Elastolin
Camp Fence #9883 |

An Elastolin Camp Fence is comprised of two fence pieces which snap together to form a large protective wall. A third support piece slides into place behind the fence to keep it standing upright.

Camp Fences were often used by men during a castle siege. They offered ample protection to hide behind when the enemy was hurling rocks or launching arrows. They also fit in nicely with Western setups where arrows are a danger.

Made of solid plastic, Elastolin Camp Fences are heavy and strong.

One small piece did tend to break off however. This is a little connecting piece (shown in the photos above). The broken piece usually doesn't affect it much if it's used on an outer edge.

Elastolin Camp Fences, which can also be called Archer Shields, were made in both 40mm and 70mm scale. Production ended in the early 1980s.
